Tree Tuesday: The Beauty of Autumn
My entry to @treetuesday initiated by @old-guy-photos is the trees dressed in the awesome colors of autumn. Everywhere I look I see the yellows, reds and rusts as the leaves fall gently to the ground as nature prepares for Old Man Winter to make his entrance.
In the driveway-
By the water-
Along the road-
The rose hips add to the autumn shades-
The moss covered rocks add their own special shade of green to the landscape.
Walking in the forest, I see the moss covering the tree stump like a soft flowing evening dress.
Most crops have been harvested and the rich red soil of PEI has been tilled to await the spring planting.
The stately oak adds it’s changing leaves to the mix-
And the brightly colored maple leaves will not be outdone-

One of the best things about autumn is walking through a wooded area - or even along a street - and listening to the crunching of dried leaves on the ground. It reminds me so much of childhood.
Indeed it is a wonderful time for long walks, WW. Playing in the leaves was always great fun - I think we could still do it. 😂

Thanks Dee. The landscape is so beautiful this time of year. Too bad the next phrase is winter but I guess we have to take the good with the not so good. That way we appreciate it when we have beautiful seasons. 😂 💕
