Tree Tuesday! Diospyros tree.
This Diospyros tree is situated on my village farm. It's a tree over 30 years old, I remember, I used to eat the fruits of this tree when I was child.
But what's the particular thing that has this specific tree?
This specific tree is meant to become a wooden hand-made musical instrument!
I counted its dimensions and I' m ready to cut it.
After cutting, it will take 7 years to keep dry in order to be ready for processing.

I don't know yet.
It will be an instument which will match with dimensions of the tree trunk.
Do you know what instruments typically are made with this type of wood? Or is it just dependent on the size?
Everything can be made, such as lyra, mpouzouki, guitar, sazi. The size of the wood determines the size of the instrument.
