BEECH #TREETUESDAY

Beautiful specimen spared by the many fires at Connetquot State Park. This Beech tree I estimate to be at least 80 years old and was spared because it was close to club houses of the old Sportsmen's Club.

Another large tree that has survived is this wide spreading Spruce tree. Being right next to the 1890 New Annex House assured it's longevity.

      The buildings where these trees are, are between large fields and the main pond. Natural fire brakes.
