I love this old tree and it's wonderful trunk and root.
It could be a home for gnomes, or a haven for squirrels to hide their winter food. Oh, the possibilities.....
It looks perfect to climb and hide in the sturdy branches.

How old it is? Thank good no one had cuted it down till now. It means people value trees there. Love to see this ancient magnificent beauty.
