Sunsets have been amazing this winter @free-reign, cooler dry months are when I normally get out, kingfisher birds are very active all along the rivers here.
At the moment we are between 13 deg C and 25 deg C, when we have cold spells pass through it will drop to around 10 deg C and 18 deg C not excessively cold.
This dart of startling blue with his electric call frequents out estuary as well. He often camps on a rock above a pool in the ocean and with a cocked head has the gift of patience.
Then he dives like an arrow and often gets his dinner.
Beautiful pictures of familiar scenery. What is the location ?
Which reminds me Lady Joan, I have to go back to the spot where a saw a little blue kingfisher like that.
Fever trees are some of my favorites.
Another great post here.
Blessings!
Only once I have seen the dwarf kingfisher that looks identical to this larger one, at first I thought it was a colourful leaf in the garden on close inspection was thrilled to see the miniature.
You definitely know when they are in the neighbourhood they have a very distinctive call.
hey there, we're upvoting in PAL now I see. I have little idea of the token but I presume you receive them instead of steem. And then they are stored where? I guess there is a wallet just like steem? I use the tag all the time now but no idea what it's doing for me or where PAL is going. I just go along on faith that it accumulates somewhere.
Still trying out Kryptonia though no idea if it's worth the effort for SUP. Are they worth anything? I had to block green hair from my twitter for bothering me about it. lol.
PAL looks to be a very fair way to work with earnings, Steem very few hit the bar of late to make much at all. Open a https://steem-engine.com/ account, using your Steem Posting Key and visit your wallet in there. When moving your crypto around you will need to use the Active Key. You need to go in and claim your crypto via Steem-Engine very easy to use.
Kryptonia are working on a lot at the moment, changes sre in the pipeline which should take the coin into a more positive market place by rebranding. Using SUP to move content further is at a very cheap rate.
The green haired troll has caused massive problems wherever he has gone, I block him everywhere and he continues to try again and again.
Always lovely to see so many different types of trees! Especially with glimpses of some of the different birds who enjoy them, as well. Some people even here have planted bamboo, as well. Though you have to be careful as it can easily overtake the local plants and become invasive rather quickly! A stunning sunset to finish it out with. :)
Clusters of bamboo not seen in too many spots, normally close to water, our sunsets this winter have been stunning to watch @plantstoplanks, thanks for visiting.
Beautiful kingfisher! 🙂

Awesome little birds with big voice in the garden @pardinus
I can imagine! :)
The scenery is very pretty, and the birds are very colorful, especially the kingfisher! A gorgeous sunset as well. :)

Gorgeous sunset @joanstewart, you've captured the colours of the Kingfisher beautifully as well!
Kingfishers have been very active at this time of the year @lizelle you hear them call early mornings and late afternoons.
Beautiful photography. I wonder how cold is there during winter? How many degrees?

I love kingfishers! Beautiful photography, @joanstewart.
We have a variety of Kingfishers down at the rivers, these are most probably known for their lovely colours.
Very pretty little birds @jayna
The colours of the kingfisher are gorgeous
Also liked the African proverb at the end.... :D
They are gorgeous indeed, we have an African pygmy kingfisher, identical but way smaller, only ever seen one once in our garden.
That must be so adorable
Just thinking about makes me smile 😊

These were taken in the Toti Bird Park, sadly not as safe going in there are it used to be!
