That is an old tree with such character. It's amazing how they can continue to produce for so many years. When I lived in Tucson, Arizona, I picked ripe black olives from the trees on the University campus. They made such great olives, with garlic and lemon. Most people just got upset at the olives falling on the sidewalk, lol.

Ahah, that is funny! Olive oil is my favorite fat, I use it everytime I cook!

I like to cook with olive oil, too. It's my favorite oil. In the stores, I've started seeing olive oil from California, so it's nice to have some that is more regional for us here in Oregon.
