Tree Tuesday - Tough Palm Trees !!

My day started very early this morning waking up at 5am this morning to catch a domestic flight from Bangkok to Koh Samui Island about 1 hour 20 minute flight for a business meeting. All when well made the flight on time and was a very pleasant flight blue skies and beautiful white clouds to look at during the flight. The meeting was over earlier then expected all good so i decided to take a walk on the beach to catch some cool ocean breeze and a cold beer.

I was at the southern part of Koh Samui Island for this particular meeting so i was eager to discover this other side of the island , with the time i had up my sleeves of i went i knew it was going to be a great sunset and that was my intention to get some nice sunset photos that i did but i also come across some interesting palm trees.

Well interesting in the fact how these palm trees were laying across the white sandy beach just gave them more character and appeal waving at the sun with there huge finned leaves.

And the amazing part was that these palm trees even though laying flat belly on the ocean sands still had a green healthy lush look about them even though they have experienced quite a lashing from the winds and ocean waters.

All i can say you need to give these palm trees some credit they have been whiplash by the winds and the ocean waves the sand ripped out from under them and they are still surviving by digging there roots in further back into the sand behind them.

Talking about putting you foot down , well it's exactly what these palm trees are doing and they are a winner here still looking up and smiling at the sunsets.
