Tree Tuesday - Gates Truth Tree !!
We took a drive down South last weekend just to get out of Bangkok city for the day to grab some fresh air so we chose a province call Chanthaburi about two hours out of Bangkok there is a Temple there called the Wat Khao Banchob the girls wanted to visit this Temple i thought another Temple i have seen many in Thailand and they are all pretty similar but they said this one is in the mountains and is surrounded by beautiful rain forest trees and mountains and they said you love trees which i do , they said you will see a very special tree at this Temple so of we when.
Well i was impressed and not disappointed seeing this 500 year old tree was mind blowing and get this the Monks have called this tree " The Gates Truth " because as with old trees in Thailand they believe that powerful sacred spirits live in these enormous trees that have all sorts of spiritual powers.
So by the Buddhist beliefs and ancient traditional beliefs if you walk through this scared spirit tree you will be cleansed of any wrong doing you may have done in your life and will be forgiven of all your sins and your soul will be purified ready for a fresh start. Damn i thought if i walk through the gate of this tree it might collapse around me i haven't exactly been a saint all my life.
But i did decide to walk through " The Gates Truth " and survived to tell the story and was definitely worth the drive down to see this beautiful wonder of nature.

The most amazing tree that i have seen in Thailand so far i did feel something walking through this tree the hairs on my arms were standing up but i felt energized when i walked out at the other end.

The tree is amazing, I have only seen such trees on photos in the United States, in the Yosemite park. You're lucky to have such places around you 😉

There are many beautiful trees in Thailand that i have seen but this one just gave me that feel of strength or something was just amazing to look at and touch :)
