Tree Tuesday - A walk in the Park !!
Last weekend on Saturday i decided to take a boat ride along the Chao Phraya River which is the main river that runs through Bangkok city. I sometimes do this just to know more about what is on the river and it never fails to show me something different the river is 372 km long and ends up in the Gulf of Thailand so there is much to see.
Cruising along the Chao Phraya River just before the famous Rama 9 bridge in Bangkok i noticed a open area with looked like a pretty neat park with a little Thai house facing the river i hadn't been this far up the river before so i decided to hope of at the next pier.
From the pier it was a short walk along the pier pathway to enter the park and upon entering this park i felt a real sense of peace and calmness about this park with some really beautiful huge trees where people were just relaxing under them either reading a book , playing with there mobile phones or just having afternoon snooze.
Some might just want to sit under these beautiful trees just to have a bit to eat and feed the pigeons at the same time and then there is the little kids chasing the pigeons thinking they can catch them....how adorable and having fun.
These beautiful trees in this park are definitely well kept and the park itself is kept well groomed a sort of park you wouldn't mind having a snooze under these big beautiful shaded trees.
It wasn't a big park to what i am normally use to seeing in Bangkok but it was just beautiful in every aspect every tree i looked at was of some unusual shape which gave them a lot of character.
The trees in this park were starting to look pretty comfortable even for me so after spending a bit of time in this park photographing these beautiful shady trees i had to get out of there before i ended up snoozing under one of them also.
