Tree Tuesday : 100 Year OLd Red Beech Tree
I took this picture at a local park now own by the council. The park is one of the largest in Europe set in 700 acres. There are 2 lakes, formal gardens and woodlands.

There are many old trees with beautiful form and ranging between 100 and 200 years old
Here are 2 large conifers. You can tell how big there are when you compare it to the person sat next to them sun bathing
I've been visiting this park regularly since i was a child and have very fond memories of fishing there in the summer months. And sledging down the giant hill (hill 60) in the winter.

Dune 69? Has that dune got anything to do with the Dune 69 in South Africa used in training army recruits in the late sixties?
The name is from the Frank Herbert Book but i needed to make it more than 4 characters and 69 is a cool number :-)
