#TreeTuesday Ice Envelops Ozark Spring
First thing Thursday morning, wearing slippers and camera in hand, I was out documenting the beauty of the ice.
Spring had literally been Frozen for a moment of time.
The ice toyed with the filtered light of the gray morning.
So much beauty...getting wet feet! Slippers are not meant for extended outdoor trips.
The view of the woods is a preview glimpse. As soon as I can access some good wifi I will be uploading a video of the melt in the woods...
Watch for Woodland Icefall...soon I hope!!

Thanks for freezing this moment in time.
I've always loved how ice forms around branches.
I love how resilient these little bits of spring are...others not so much sadly. Happy Spring to you.
I love the way ice encapsulates every thing... Except for the power lines! Nice work.
I agree...I have seen it do some wicked damage to powerlines though...
Another advantage of off grid living!!
Wow, these pictures are nice. I especially like the first picture.😊
Beware of frostbite.
Thank you!
I can't wait to share the video of the melt!!! Half thinking of waiting until July and offer a cooling moment! Lol
WOW! That's some really sick photography going on! I can't believe how lucky you are to have seen this. I bet it will be perfect if there's a rose over there. Nevertheless, good job :)
Thanks!!!
It really was awe-inspiring.
Your use of the adjective 'sick' makes me smile ear to ear! It brings my all-time favorite compliment to mind.
I was standing packing groceries into the car and another drives past slow...a younger teen rolls down the window, sticks his head out and says "Sick dreads!!"... As I turn and he sees my face/age...he adds a quick "Ma'am" to the end with a big sheepish Grin... Respect! I loved it!
Thanks for the memory trigger!
The first photo is cool, the color of the leaves and the way that the ice lights up around the branch is neat.
The first photo is my favorite too! The glowing ice is set off nicely by the color in the leaves.
@jamethiel and @mtnmeadowmomma ... Thank you both! I will be sure to pass that along to my hubby...he got to choose the feature photo!
I'm a nut for Ice! Northern girl here...some things run deep!
Those are beautiful pics! Upped
