Tree Tuesday, from Christmas Day and with Christmas Lens

After awhile the days blur into each other especially during busy holiday times. For Christmas we got ourselves a new Camera lens, since both my wife and I are enjoying taking and sharing pictures. She has a very nice mid level zoom lens she likes, but every now and then we want to be able to bring things in a little closer. It is not easy getting used to a new lens. You would think just put it on the camera and you are good to go. Nope, you have to mess and futz with all the different settings, and get used to some settings being not as flexible.

All that being said, here is a shot of a distant tree top from my window.

Big Picture

The picture was taken on Christmas day. If you saw my weekend squirrel or eagle pictures, you can see that I am becoming more familiar and comfortable with the lens. So far no luck on a series of shots to make a pano out of, but I will continue to try.
