New Year, New Tree Tuesday

First Tree Tuesday of 2019

Millers Landing Sterling Alaska, the boat launch area into the Kenai River. This was a pretty nice day, it was cold, but we had a little bit of blue sky also. It was our day after solstice drive, and get a bit of shopping done, nah, not much shopping, we did stop at the rock shop though.

I love the way the snow was on this tree, and that it has a small boulder in front of it to protect it from the people backing their boats down the launch. Not a lot of blue in the sky but the promise of more to come as the clouds began to lift and part ways to allow the sun shine, I wish it happened that way, but alas it just got more cloudy that day, and soon the blue had faded away.

Still it was a nice tree portrait.
