TreeTuesday Bottle Tree Australia
This is a photo of a bottle tree in the Sherwood Arboretum in Brisbane, Australia. This is my entry for #treetuesday hosted by @old-guy-photos
An arboretum is a botanical garden containing living collections of woody plants and is intended at least in part for scientific study.
These trees have such a great shape they really stand out in parks and peoples gardens. In Roma a small town in Queensland Australia an avenue of bottle tress was planted between 1918 and 1920, each tree representing one of 93 local men killed in World War 1.

Oh that IS a cool trunk! I see why they call it that.
I haven't been to Brisbane but I was in Byron Bay. Beautiful city.
Also I know you're a vegan but I love meat pies!
Lol I have only been to Byron Bay once, that area is really nice although I have heard people say it is getting over run. I have had plenty of meat pies and sausage rolls when I was younger , they can be a bit dodgy because of unidentifiable meat.
