Treated Like Dirt

Most of you know what this means, many have experienced this; whether in a serious or trivial manner. When you realise it, unless you are being paid, or have some secret agenda, you leave.

For years I've belonged to a specific congregation. Maybe belong is the wrong term. The congregation consists of a set of a inter related families, who actually don't like each other, but hate everyone else.

Now, of course you say, well you are not there for the people, are you?

No, I'm not, but...

When the tsunami of the members tends to drown the significance of the service, why attend?
