What has Scientology done to help the world?(r/scientology)

From their point of view simply rehabilitating people to achieve spiritual freedom is going to "help the world". Scientology has a goal to "clear the planet" and that is their primary method for helping. They have many front groups that they believe are causing a difference as well, though most of us critics would argue that they in fact do nothing of substance, often cause more harm than good, and are used almost entirely as front groups to gain new members rather than to help in any tangible way.

I'm interested to see if any actual Scientologists answer you though. I'm curious to see what they think their organization has done to help.

Everyone has been granted spiritual freedom by their creator to choose that which they believe in, whether they believe in force or in kindness, like Christ taught. Scientology does not grant spiritual freedom or religious freedom, they take it, like a man who beats his wife and says he protects her from other men.
