Plan a day in Rhodes, Greece
One full day itinerary
I have never been in Rhodes, Greece but I can make a whole day itinerary for your family. So by Wednesday, May 23rd the schedule will surely busy. Everyone must wake up early to take a breakfast on the terrace of the hotel. So here are the full day schedule:
Morning:
- The husband will rent a car to go to Rhodes Market near the harbor in the morning with the wife and the 2 youngest girls.
- Grandmother will stay at the hotel with the 2 girls of 11 and 12 years old. She has a water gym class with the 3rd age group she met at the hotel. The girls will stay and have fun at the pool.
Noon:
- Everyone has an appointment at the foot of the ramparts facing the port of Rhodes at noon. The grandmother and the 2 girls will join the parents, thanks to the shuttle bus of the hotel.
- A short walk in the streets of the city to the restaurant Angela Castle where a table is reserved at 12:30 lunch.
- On the menu, typical Greek dishes, and fresh fish of the day will be served.
Afternoon:
- After the meal, everybody will walk on the ramparts of the city before taking the road to Lindos to the east of the island.
- Everybody will visit the village, the Acropolis, and the ruins. Nice little excursion in perspective, and many steps before arriving on the site. I'm sure everyone will be fascinated by these vestiges of Greek history. After the visit, everybody must go back to the hotel.
Evening:
- At night, grandmother will babysit for the 2 youngest girls. After a short dinner and the bottle of the youngest, a little childish theater session will be present by the staff of the hotel, before going back to the room for a good night's sleep.
- The 2 girls will return to the pool with their new friends that they met at the hotel.
- Wife and husband will have a fine dine for tonight at the Oasis Andrea restaurant. Greek cuisine, simple and cheap.
