Zapraszam do zatrzymania się w wiosce Chlomos na Korfu. Najprościej wynająć samochód, (można spróbować skuterem- ale to dla bardziej wprawionych). Ja podróżowałam z miejscowości Agios Georgios Argirades. Droga prowadzi stromo w górę, wijąc się serpentynami- ostre zakręty witają kierowcę co parędziesiąt metrów . Pokonanie trasy 7 km ma zająć 15 min, ale ostatnie 4 są nie lada doświadczeniem. Pobyt w wiosce jest zatrzymaniem się w swoim życiu- to wioska z osobliwym klimatem, który tworzy wszystko wokół- domy, uliczki, dachy, kwiaty, pianie kogutów, cisza, koty wygrzewające się w słońcu, dobiegająca gdzieś z oddali melodia greckiego języka…
Na szczycie wzniesienia urokliwy kościółek, a z niego niecodzienny widok na południową część wyspy, którą okalają wody Morza Jońskiego.
Warto powłóczyć się tutaj, zaglądając do różnych zakamarków. Polecam pyszną grecką kawę w tawernie Balis na skraju morza-skąd spektakularne widoki! Dość słów- niech zdjęcia przemówią ...:)

I invite you to stop in the Chlomos village in Corfu. The easiest way to get there is to rent a car (you can try by scooter - but it is only for the more experienced drivers, I think ). I have been driving from Agios Georgios Argirades. The road leads steeply up, winding serpentine-sharp bends meet the driver every few meters.
Travelling of the 7 km route is expected to take 15 minutes, but the last 4 are quite a lot of experience. Staying in the village is as “the stop in your life” - this village has a peculiar climate that creates everything around - houses, streets, roofs, flowers, cockfighting, silence, sun-cured cats, distant Greek tunes.
At the top of the hill is a charming church, with has an unusual view of the southern part of the island that surrounds the waters of the Ionian Sea.
It is worth to hang around here, looking at the various corners. I recommend the delicious Greek coffee in the Balis tavern on the edge of the sea - from where the spectacular views!
