Beer Sheva, Israel, it the most beautiful and surprising place!
I live in Beer Sheva, which is the "the capital of the Negev". The Negev is the south part of israel, and it's mostly not populated. So you can come here and see beutiful vies!
Beer Sheva was mentioned for the first time in the Bible with Abraham - before Jerusalem was mentioned! This place has great history, going through the Australian army (this photo is from October 2017, when Beer Sheva celebrated 100 years to liberation that was also thank to Australia!).
But its not only old and depressing here - I study at the university that is a really fun place. If you come, you can also join a debate competition that we do at English! There are amazing parks, shows, and a lot of young people that make a "young net" of sharing skills.
Community gardens, where all of the neighbors are working together. "Free school" is a cool event where people share skills and teach the community (for free!). Community carpentry workshop are places where you can make your own furniture. At the picture, its a library at the bus station - you can just take a book and read, while waiting for the buss.
If you want a beach - the Dead Sea is really close and you can use it mud to heal your body.
Also, you can travel at the Negev and see ancient cites, beautiful mountains view, or Darom Adom.
Darom Adom (red south) is the name of this amazing phenomena when the mountains become red, because of the rug of anemones.
See you!
