Tropical Sunset
Just another sunset in paradise. Although weather in the tropics isn't always this pleasant, it does make for some gorgeous sunsets. I've been on the coast of Mexico several times during rainy weather. None of these were ever rated even as a tropical depression much less a tropical storm and it is unbelievable how much rain can fall in a very short length of time.
Luckily it's not a regular occurrence during the winter months so winter vacationers and snow birds get to enjoy this view of the tropics. You may have guessed, I am missing the coast. The good news is fall is coming when I normally get a good tropical working vacation.
I know what you mean by a lot of rain can fall in a very short length of time. I work at an Amusement park and usually when the weather forecast says its going to rain, it never does at the park its like theirs a magical force surrounding it BUT when it does it rains hard, vary hard for a short time.
You got it. I imagine with the paved areas at the park the runoff must be something.

I like street photos but give me a coastline or an old forest any day and I'm happy.

Probably pretty there when it is raining buckets, too.
When it's raining buckets you can hardly see anything. Everything just fades into the rain. After the rain it can be hard to find dry land to walk on since they have no waste water system for the streets.
Well, take the not so good with the very good. Evens out. :)
