Ecological complex Smilyan in the Rhodopes
If you leave the ski resort Pamporovo through the town of Smolyan in the direction of the Greek border, then after 27 km you can come to an unusual place for its romance and mystery.
In this photo you can see a huge cross on top of a cliff. He was built by the owner of this hotel before building the complex itself.
This mountain hotel (777 meters above sea level) is called the Ecolycomplex Smilyan, because it is built on two mountain streams: hot and cold. Arda and Chern. Which one of them is called, I did not remember.
I guess this is a cold river.
This is a restaurant. He stands over the warm river, so the heating of this room is not required. Moreover, the water is slightly mineralized, used to treat diseases of the digestive tract.
You can dine here (among other things) with fresh river trout and carp caught right there. Prices do not know, the owner treated. But, I believe that as everywhere in the Rhodopes, more than democratic.
Sanctified chapel. The owner of the complex marks this as an important point. In his mouth, this is a huge advantage for those who buy his townhouses here.

You can stay in this hotel at any time of the year. The price of a spacious room is around 25 euros per night. The back wall comes close to the rock, there is a fire escape, we walked along it, but we could not make clear pictures.
The landscapes around the hotel impressed me so much that I did not pay enough attention to the rooms, but in vain. Everything is up to par there.
The road that has the hotel and the whole complex leads to Greece. From here it is 50 km to the White Sea (Aegean) and the city of Xanthi.
Incredible peace and tranquility from the contemplation of the surroundings, crystal air and water, sweep away all the garbage from the head.
However, the hotel has satellite TV, Internet and other benefits of civilization.
