Watching Jakarta Through NEO Window

In this trip, I stay at Neo Hotel, exactly on Jln. Woltermonginsidi No. 131, South Jakarta. I got room 709, on the 7th floor of this hotel.

I tried to look at Jakarta from the window of the room, in addition to the high-rise building, there was also a residential settlement that was squeezed by large buildings (I do not know what the name of the settlement is).

In addition to the visible settlement, my eyes fixed on another scene, that there is a brown river water. Because I have little knowledge of the environment, then I think there must be a problem in the upper river area that affects the quality of the water.

Of course there is a close relationship between the settlement with the river. At least, the river water serves as a source of clean water for residents. Besides known as the capital of Indonesia, Jakart is also known as the flood disaster that every year.

Inadequate quality of river water will have an impact on the quality of people's consumption and health (but I'm sure there are other water sources consumed by citizens). However, the availability of rivers on the fringe of citizens' settlements will of course also be utilized by residents, although not for consumption. For the needs of washing and others must be used by residents.

Unlike the case with my previous trip to Jakarta, often treated to beautiful scenery, be it a park or other objects. But this trip I get another scene, the residential population is squeezed by high buildings.
