Bright peak

At around 7 pm we left Vladivostok, bought ourselves in Three Cats and drove to Sergeevka. At 12 nights were in place.
The first day. .
At 7 rise, at 8 departure from Sergeevka. Initially, there were 2 options for entering. The first from the village of Sokolchi up the Black River, to the confluence with the Bystrotekny key, and up along it to the top. The second option began at the foot of Mount Perevalnaya, then the movement was carried out along the ridges. It turned out that they went according to the second option. They threw backpacks, left Nastyushka, drove off the car in Chernoruchye themselves and returned to the abandonment (about 8 km). We had lunch and moved along the ridge, the forest is clean, oak and cedar grow mainly, rosemary blooms, very beautiful.

In the first hour we scored 300 meters, reached the main ridge and then moved along it all day. Only because of the long winter, we became sacks of roofing felts, but it was difficult to go along the ridges, the speed fell to nothing, we had to traverse the slopes. It was hot. At 7 pm they became a camp. About 2 kilometers did not reach the river. In the glen, a goat barked. Cooked dinner, and went to bed. They cooked on gas, did not make bonfires, so as not to determine their location.
A day went 13.5 km in 6.5 hours
Second day. May 2, 2015.
Rise at 7:30, crows croaked all morning, everyone heard, but getting out was lazy. Only after the alarm we hang out of the tent and start shamanizing breakfast. At 9:15 we go on the route, cross the ridge and go down to the Bystrushka river, we smoke there and move further up the glen. The forest is still clean.

It is easy to go around the traces of red deer, goats, wild boars and bears. In some places we come across picturesque cliffs.

By two o'clock we get out on a ridge. We have lunch there. The places are picturesque, already see the purpose of our journey - Black.

Motivated by fun, we continue to move, here the cross of the forest has fallen dramatically, roofing felts due to height, roofing felts due to something else, but here mainly fir, fir tree and rhododendron walls grow. It’s harder to go, of course, but I like it here, there is something beautiful in this “khlamushnik”. We also came across local places with alpine meadows, from where an excellent view opened up.

Day Three May 3,
Rise at 7:30. We have breakfast, we are going. The sky is gloomy, they promised a little rain in the morning, but he had mercy on us; At 9 o'clock he started pouring, as if hinting that you guys should go, move forward, and we weren’t against it. After a couple of minutes, the rain turned into an ordinary drizzle, and then it disappeared. The views along the way still continued to impress us.

We decided to leave in the village of Sokolchi, according to the first version of the call. But they slowed down the floodplain, moved along the ridge, initially it was easy to go, then rocks blocked us, we had to climb and walk around, a fun activity. At a certain moment, when it was almost impossible to get around the rocks, and to move along them for a very long time, we decided to go down to the stream. They went down for a long time, in places traversed the slope. But still, they came down. The key did not save our position much, but we began to go a little faster. Below come across squatters and weirs.

There was even a waterfall, 3-5 meters, but they didn’t take pictures of it, it was too lazy to get a camera, it lay far in a backpack. At the beginning of the third we got up for lunch, ate in 37 minutes, quickly, so as not to freeze. Then they moved mainly through the forest, along animal paths or without them. We walked carefully, looked for camera traps but did not see any. At 18:28, we entered the road that connects Sokolchi with the cordon of the Lazovsky Reserve. We went out on it. At 19:46 they were with Sokolchi, there we agreed with the locals, they drove us to Chernoruchy. At about 23 o’clock I was in Sergeevka, and this perhaps ended our small and fascinating journey through the Lozovsky Reserve.
