Newtown Public Transport Terminal, Mactan Lapu-lapu City

The Newtown Public Transport Terminal - is a terminal found outside the Mactan Newtown radius, which serves a route of Mactan Newtown passed by Pacific Mall and bound to IT Park in Cebu City, and with a fare of 0.71 US$ dollar. On the opposite lane, it was operated by the LAMADOTRASCO buses, a cooperative-owned buses that operates Mactan Newtown to Parkmall route, and with a fare of 0.63 US$ dollar.

The buses (Ceres Tours) are operated by Vallacar Transit Incorporated which is the first branding that operates in the whole Visayas region, and in such as entire cities and provinces routes. And on the other side, it was operated by the collaborating cooperative operators, the Lapu-lapu Mandaue Driver Operator Transport Cooperative buses.

There was a designated area with chairs just for passengers who will waits for the arriving buses, this is an area inwhich you can get chilled and relax for awhile.

These are specific markings on the road that designates for persons with disabilities (PWD's) pathways. Which it really needs more attention when they might cross the roads.

And beside the terminal, there was a covered shed and sometimes a waiting shed inwhich people can stay freely, and provides a comfortable shed most in times of rain and heat of the sun and just for every passengers which about to ride a buses.

Every road sign and symbol counts, so be careful upon crossing the roads and obey road signs and symbol, just to avoid any accidents and for your safety. Which there are specified lane for people who wants to cross the road, this is to minimize accidents in the area and avoid any danger upon crossing.

There is a designated place of garbage bins which provided by the management where people can put their trash and garbage. Which always stated in my previous post and my always important reminders, no littering, no vandalism in the area and put your garbage in the proper waste disposal just to avoid any fines.

There was a Police Station near the terminal's entrance, this is to maintain the peace and order situation most in times of a large volume of passengers coming to the terminal.
Overall, the terminal is an easy access in town where you can be able to reach with ease in your destinations.
