I really enjoyed this trip because I was guided by a local friend most of the time and I had a really Japanese experience.

The onsen is really relaxing and it's a good balance in the cold area there. I recommend that onsen village in Okuhida as I think most have less guests. But if you're brave enough then you can try the really public onsen :D
