Followed you from Poland to Belarus today! Awesome journey and you've met a lot of good souls along the way. I can imagine Belarus must be challenging to visit especially in 1994. I haven't met a traveller who has been there. Must be a not so popular travel destination until now and that makes it more interesting! Looking forward to the next stop :D
Yes indeed, there are always people to help and make things easier. One of the advantages of being a flexible solo traveller :D ... Belarus was much pleasanter than I had expected, and I guess it's still not that much of a tourist destination. As you say, that makes the whole exploration and discovery all the more interesting.
...now on to Москва́ to have my throat slit.... :P
