Thank you @jrvacation for your comment. Macau is full of surprises and as you said a mixture of old and new. You could probably spend a long weekend in Macau, but any longer and you would be scrambling for ideas.
50 HKDs, which is like $5 (USD) in five minutes, which is not bad. We just it did to try out the experience and you have to go in with the mindset that you already lost the money. It makes it easier for yourself and doesn't ruin the rest of your time.
