Hello Steemians!
I wanted to share a thing that I actually miss and it is about visiting my Grandmother’s house. She lives in a mountainous area of Northern Cebu.
You see the house at the top? It was my Great Grandmother’s house. It is like on top of the hill. You have to climb in order to reach it and it actually needs effort. Once you are there you really will have a hard time catching your breath but it was actually worth it.
You will also get a chance to see Carabaos that you can’t see in the city. Living in a mountainous area is such a blessing. The natural resources are just their and it is all about how you actually farm it. The crops that are mostly their are corns and some vegetables. It is also a healthy living ving that s why those people that live their are helathy and no health issues compared to those urban people.
It is all GREEN and it so refreshing in the eyes. You can also smell a fresh air there and just enjoy life. At the same time it is a stress reliever.
It me and my cousins and we just actually came from a natural spring to take a bath. Yes! you need to go down just to take a bath but it was worth it. The stone staircase was a man made staircase that our anscestors made and they only use stones to pile it. Isn’t it amazing?
See? It looked like a swimming pool but it is actually a natural spring!
This place is just too magical tho it is also scary at night as some old stories there told us that it is actually enchanted.
It is me with my FRIEND! Hahahah it is so enjoyable and the carabaos are actually friendly!
One thing we enjoyed is to climb in the tress like monkeys! It is actually a mango tree.
Even the pathways are actually stones that are put together bit it is actually very strong.
Sometimes we just wander around to take pictures or just to enjoy the cold breeze in the morning.
You see how lucky you are if we experience this? It’s like a hiking and it is an adventure. The experience is priceless and I miss going back there. There your mind is in a block out zone and I mean it is a get away from the traffic, noisy, polluted city. It was from city and you can't experience the city life their. All natural, cool and relaxing and there food their doesn’t have preservatives. All natural and it is a living we always wanted tho we also have challenges in life and we also want to be successful but there are times that we are stressed to the point of geeting sick. Take time to find a place like this that can keep you calm.
