Bagan is really a beautiful place, I was there for the first time in 92 and really love it, but I hate the change they've done to the site, especially with the big hotel (tower) they have built in the middle of this incredible site. Always there is something there that reminds me of Angkor. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, in 1992.. That's impressive! I only can imagine how different everything was there even its not toooo over- crowded yet. The charme of Myanmar is still pretty unique compared to the countries I visited so far in Asia. Appreciate your comment @ricko66 ! :))
Thank You! 92 in Burma (that was the name before) was very different than Myanmar today, visa of 15 days, government guide always with us, take our passport at night time to notify at the police station. But about Bagan and other sites, there were no tourists it was during the darkest hours of Burma, still, it was a trip to the old-time compared to Thailand.
