Today, I will be featuring the beautiful Bantayan Island in the province of Cebu, here in the Philippines. Photos were taken last August 2016, using my iPhone 6s, and edited in Instagram App.

Philippines is definitely blessed with so many tourist destinations that would leave you breathless. Its hard not to fall inlove with these gems. I love taking travel photos because I couldn't miss the chance of preserving its beauty in a photograph where I could take a look at it over and over again.

I'll always be proud to showcase what Philippines can offer. Someday, I'll be able to visit all 81 provinces. Currently, I've only been to 17 of them, including my home province, Leyte.

This account is solely for my backpacking journey, and will be featuring some previous travels from time to time.

Bantayan Island, Cebu, Philippines

Island hopping is one of the things you can do in Bantayan. On our 2nd day, we decided to rent a boat going to Virgin Island. This place is uninhabitated unlike Bantayan where there are resorts and residential houses.

Virgin Island, from the name itself, seems like an untouched paradise. There is a mini diner in the island, and some care takers who maintains the cleanliness of the surroundings. It was such a nice place to chill. We were blessed with a perfect weather that day, that it really brought out the charm of the island. We loved the beach, it was super clean. There were only few people who are in the island that day so we were able to capture lots of photos of the island without photo bombers. LOL.

If you have watched Camp Sawi, this is where the movie was filmed. Seeing it in person gave me an impression that it does looked like a perfect place to heal broken hearts and wounded souls. Charot!

The serenity of the place would probably help you reflect on things, reminisce good memories, and will make you wonder why your relationship ended when he/she said that you two would conquer all and your love will be forevermore.

On another note, it will also make you realize why you deserve better, and that crying over an asshole or a bitch isn't worth your precious time. Wag kana maglove life, magtravel ka nalang bes! Haha.
