The climbing of the Udaweriya mountain range, which is a marvel of nature // Part 2

in #travelfeed5 years ago

As I mentioned in the previous post, the Uduweriya mountain climb cannot be completed in one day, so we used it for 2 days. Climbing is a good sport. Unfortunately there are very few mountains in our country and only a few people play this sport. Climbing mountains is not enough. The tree should also love greenery and greenery.

Above you can see the two old tea factories here. These two tea factories are wonderful. But they are not working now. Of course, the old buildings bring out the beauty.

Ohiya is a beautiful village located in the Badulla District of the Uva Province of Sri Lanka. Located close to Horton Plains National Park, this village belongs to the Welimada Divisional Secretariat. On the Colombo-Badulla road, there are many places that we know of, as well as many places we don't know much about.

When climbing the mountain, there are a number of bunches of Mana plants. The pines are coming after mana plants. From there it continues up the mountain through the pines. The journey is a bit difficult, but once you reach the top of the mountain, the beauty of the place is exhausted. The scenery is just as beautiful.

On the way to the mountains, we found a makeshift lodge. Created using clay and wood, it is a unique creation that suits the natural environment. There was also a top deck and a wooden staircase to climb it.

After fallen Sunlight to the tea leaves, that was waked up nicely with showing grand visualization to my camera eye. This is great news for climbers and for those who are new to climbing. Because after such a beautiful journey, anyone can continue to climb. Therefore a relaxing weekend is a good idea. It is a wonderful experience.

Climbing the mountain offers the traveler an experience like walking in a European forest. You should cross the stream, descending along the irregular stairs at the start of the journey. If the water level is low, you can get down there and cross over the rocks. The journey begins in small jungles. The climbing plant is gradually moving among communities. Within about an hour of steepening the mountain slope can enter the freezing cold pine forest.

Slipping on the decaying foliage and choosing a slippery shortcut can save travel time, but can be very risky. With a full time of about 2.5 hours, we were able to reach the campsite with great freedom and satisfaction.

From here there is a path that leads to the Devil's Staircase. It is a very difficult journey. The path that runs through the Udaweriya estate from Ohiya to Kalupahana is called the Devil's Staircase. The scenic route is 22km long. If you are a walker in Sri Lanka, this is a must go for you.

Most of the people living here are Tamils. We had a lot of trouble talking to them. Because language communication was a barrier to known more. They did not know Sinhala or English. We don't know Tamil. However we communicated some people. It is popular among walkers passing the houses, tea factories and kovil of the Udaweriya estate on the way.

From Ohiya to Bambarakanda through the devil's staircase, Lanka Falls is a series of sky-covered mountains close to Bambarakanda Falls. With more than 20 kilometers of tiresome but end to end destination, these mountain ranges are sure to take us back to the ecosystem.

From Bambarakanda, it is the beautiful Vangedigala that catches my eye and mind more than the mountain of Baladuwa. We have made the Uduweriya mountain climb to the top of the list of Sri Lankan mountain climbers.

I climbed a normal size tree and photographed the location of the hills from a different angle. Looking down, I felt terrible. Like exhaustion even before I get out of the tree. Ohiya, which is subject to frequent climate change, is located on the boundary that separates the mountainous dry zone and the mountainous wetland. One must visit here to enjoy the beauty of the peaceful surroundings.

I have found beautiful flower where I climbed mountain. I got best effort for show you macro photography using my camera settings. Green and yellow always combined with nature. I have seen most of times it. Flowers always inspire us.

Due to irregularities in the disposal of plastic, polythene, garbage and sewage in the area, the campsite is gradually dying. During the rainy season, villagers complain that the wastewater is polluting the village by moving downstream, joining the reservoirs.

The green stripe is the edge of the eye. Getting stuck in the fog, challenging it through the cool wind waves, is a strange experience. The mountains and pines of the distant valley extend to infinity. I was alone with my friends who were stranded for a while on a planet.

Finally we came to Ohiya railway station for catch train go to the home with my friend. I looked beautiful bunches of rose flowers very nearest to the railway station. Then I captured it. So cute and lovely. After spent two days Udaweriya area I want to huge thanks for who were arranged this trip and who were instructed us how we were be careful there with lovely guidance. See you again with my another travel bog.

I am very happy to see this place. Nature is always beautiful. I don't love the city life. It is crowed of and rush of cars and other vehicle. I always love green village. It gives a fresh oxygen.

Thanks your nice feedback. You're very similar to my mind. We all busy people working around cities. But villages have nice green scenery. Nature improve our mind much better.

It seem like you had a great trip in a beautiful nature. Quite different from what I am used to in northern Norway.
