The climbing of the Udaweraiya mountain range, which is a marvel of nature..

in #travelfeed5 years ago

The Uduweriya mountain range is the tallest mountain in the Uva Province and the 13th highest in Sri Lanka. It is 2036 meters in height. There are basically two ways to cross this. The road crosses the Spring Valley and the 10th mile road leading to Namunukula town. Spring Valley is the shortest and easiest way to climb the mountain. If you use the 10-mile road to cross the mountain, you have to board a bus from Badulla to Passara, Monaragala and Kataragama.

Still the journey I looked newly started paddy field on side of the road.

It was a day when you had an idea that you had in mind for a year. According to an idea in our set, we had to go to Badulla by train. We stayed overnight at a friend's house in Badulla and returned by train the next morning for our trip.

Still our journey I looked nearly started to growing paddy field one side of the road. I don't need to tell more about rice field because many people know about it.

The waterfall falls directly on a rock face. Windmills are spreading in the air and the surrounding area is filled with water. This is Bambarakanda Falls.

The water of the falls falls into a small pool of water. The water-loving plants that surround it have sprung up, creating a wonderful dome. Various plants spread out and shade the surroundings.

Above the waterfall is the Udaweriya Tea Estate. Climbing the falls near the waterfall, the small path leads up to the Horton Plains National Park. The Bambarakanda road has become a nature lover's path through the Horton Plain.

We also took the opportunity to go up and see the beautiful surroundings. It takes about an hour and a half on a very difficult road. It will be another wonderful environmental experience. Pine forests, forested forests, are much cooler because of the high altitude.

About an hour along the tea estate to the side of the mountain, you can take care of an old room. Along with that old room there is a road leading up to the tea estate. A few minutes down the road, you enter a pine forest. It's been the hardest journey ever.

About an hour and a half uphill along the turpentine jungle, we enter a thick jungle. With the fog coming suddenly, there was so much darkness in the jungle that no one was missing. The terrain of the turpentine jungle was not clear. In the jungle, go between two and two hours.

Hiking is a great adventure. I most of like to walking and hiking because both activities increase our physical health. In front of us, I saw some houses placed in tea estates. Absolutely brilliant scenery you can see now.

From the far end of the mountain range, the vast space extends to the lower Uva Mountains and the East Coast. The spectacular view of the mountain has been canceled due to this spectacular view. How beautiful is nature This was the idea that we had in the mountains.

From the Welimada area to the distant ocean, Udaweriya Estate is a beautiful place. Here you can see the sights of ships heading to the South Sea for a clear day.

On the other side is the mountain leading to the hotel. It is difficult for the Tamil people to live and communicate. A very tough village. People earn an income by cutting tea leaves and growing vegetables.

Very cold on the mountain. If there is someone who wants to go, get ready for the cold. It takes about four hours to ascend the mountain.

Up there is a pot of camping. At the top of the Namunukula mountain, there are only two small ponds to get water. There is another footprint on the mountain plains. About five minutes walk along it and you will find the camping pot with all the amenities.

I will meet you in another post as the photos of this trip cannot be submitted in a single post. I am only mentioning the smallest detail I know. The environment is still clean. A beautiful village in Sri Lanka. But don't dirty it.
