Find Elle Oya, a beautiful stream that crosses the Brandy Rock in Sri Lanka...
Hello everyone, Welcome back to my today's travel blog. I already posted my hike experience of Brandy rock. Today I'm going to share a beautiful stream where we traveled Brandy rock. Elle Oya very similar to water fall.
No need to repeat that going to a waterfall is a beautiful word. We went Kandy through train since Colombo fort. Then after we came to Matale and then reached to Watagoda and finally came this location. Elle oya was a better stream for reduce our tired condition and refresh our mood.
Whole area surrounded by the green trees and vines. Elle oya located very cool background. I always said we can reduce our stress via staying with nature.
This small waterfall is still not that famous. As are the other waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Therefore most tourists are not attracted. As such, the environment has been taken care of.
I could see oldest bridge on the water stream. I believe those bridge built over 50 years. I found some proof for my observation. Since this has decayed, a recent repair needs to be done. Otherwise, people crossing the road are at risk.
Wow...superb location for bathe. We all enjoyed there with feel cool winds and water. Water also very pure and fresh because this was water fall. Actually Elle oya deserve location for bathe after finish Brandy rock hiking. We did same like.
I think Elle oya started since top of the forest in the brandy rock. These environment well protected. So we couldn't see any non decaying items. Most of hikers nature lovers. They don't put garbage directly to the nature. Only bad visitors put garbage directly to where they enjoyed.
Now you can understand about my previous truth. Concrete sheets are starting to pop up all over the place. Some places on the protective iron fence were removed. There are plenty of places we haven't seen in this little Sri Lanka. I'm finding lot of hiding places with road maps these days. I'll reach and share them continuously. See you again.
