Have you ever thought about the fact that the Moon looks totally different from different places on the Earth? Back in 2010 I visited Egypt with my mom and her colleagues and stopped to look at the Moon one evening, when I noticed the difference - it's rotated about 90 degrees compared to how it looks like in Estonia. (When in Estonia, if it's not a Full Moon, it'd look like ''('' or '')'' but as you get closer to the Equatorial regions, it starts resembling a ''u'' or ''n'' (more stretched out, of course). Plus, way South it's upside down compared to how it's in the North.
You are absolutely right and I'd never thought of that before!! Back home, the crescent is sideways on but here its like upside down like a dish!! You have too much time on your hands...write a post!! lol :-)
