My discussion in this post is very serious, I assume this post is my contribution to give an opinion for the progress of the regency where I am currently working now, Aceh Jaya Regency. Why ? This began when I had on several occasions discussed with my friends who were native residents here. They complained their regency now could not develop. Hmm...

The first reason in their opinion is because their regency as a city currently flanked by two major city, Aceh Barat Regency and Banda Aceh City. So people here prefer to spend their money in these two cities because the cost in their districts more expensive than two regency I said. Yes, that makes sense and I also see the fact like that now. Their second reason is, Aceh Jaya Regency only a track city. Its means their district not a destination but only a temporary stopover. According to their opinion, from economic view, the transit cities have a slow developing ability.

I think their reason are right, but the fact now shouldn't always be revealed, without solution, right ? I disagree with what they are said, because in my opinion this district has opportunity and development better. The Regency Government should think of the right way how this district is not only as a transit city but also a destination for people. If only rely on oil palm plantations all this time, then purpose of this district as a destination for people just in vain. Then what things can advance this district in my opinion? What things can make this district as a destination for people?

The answer in my opinion is tourism management. Take a look at some of my photography posts where always tell and show off the natural beauty in Aceh Jaya Regency. I must admit beaches, sea and nature thing are some supporting factors to make this district a tourist attraction. Why travel ? Because by optimizing the coastal area as a tourist destination, it will make the idea of this district becomes destination will be realized. Oil palm plantations only bring one or two investors and workers, while tourism can bring thousands of tourists in the country and abroad.

My other reason is the tourism sector has basically contributed a lot of regional income and this is routine. However, this management has not gone well so far, so fat its only benefits for several people who manage beach resorts as private and group property. In my mind, if all tourist areas here are equipped with facilities at tourist attractions and have responsible management under government controlling, the income occurring routinely.

Optimizing the coastal area as a tourist attraction, can bring various types of jobs for anyone, this is also an income for this regency, and maybe later, if there are some investors seeing this district consistently, then their dollars will flow from their pockets of tourism entrepreneurs. Economic emergence and improvement in people's income can also be seen later, because more developed and developing coastal areas will present several food and beverage entrepreneurs, restaurants and others.

This is my opinion and I have only told my friends, hopefully this article can be read by government officials in the district and capture this initial idea, It is not impossible the statement of this region impossible to be advance will be refuted by the fact when all beach tour here very crowded in the future.

Pembahasan dalam postingan ini adalah hal serius, aku menganggap bahwa post kali adalah sebagai kontribusiku untuk memberikan pendapat demi kemajuan daerah tempatku bekerja saat ini, Aceh Jaya. Hal ini bermula ketika aku dalam beberapa kesempatan pernah berdiskusi dengan kawan-kawanku yang merupakan penduduk asli disini. Dalam diskusi tersebut mereka mengeluhkan bahwa daerah mereka tidak mungkin berkembang.

Alasan pertama menurut mereka adalah karena kota mereka saat ini diapit oleh dua kota kota besar yaitu Meulaboh dan Banda Aceh sehingga masyarakat di kabupaten ini lebih memilih untuk menghabiskan uangnya di dua kota tersebut karena di dalam kabupaten cenderung mahal. Ya, itu masuk akal dan aku juga melihat kenyataan yang ada memang seperti itu. Alasan kedua mereka adalah, kota ini adalah kota lintasan. Artinya kabupaten ini bukan tempat tujuan namun hanya persinggahan sementara. Secara ekonomi menurut mereka kota persinggahan memiliki kemampuan berkembang yang lambat.

Menurutku alasan mereka benar, akan tetapi kenyataan itu tidak seharusnya selalu diungkapkan saja, tanpa diberikan solusi, benar kan ?? Aku tidak setuju dengan apa yang mereka katakan, karena menurutku bahwa kabupaten ini punya peluang dan berkembang lebih baik. Pemerintah di Kabupaten harusnya memikirkan cara yang tepat agar kabupaten ini tidak hanya menjadi kota persinggahan namun juga menjadi destinasi orang. Jika selama ini kabupaten ini mengandalkan perkebunan sawit semata, maka tujuan menjadikan kabupaten ini sebagai destinasi adalah sia-sia. Lalu apa yang dapat memajukan kabupaten ini ? Menjadikan kabupaten ini sebagai destinasi orang ?

Jawabannya menurutku adalah dengan pengelolaan wisata. Coba perhatikan beberapa postingan fotografiku yang selalu menceritakan dan memamerkan keindahan alam di Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Aku harus akui bahwa pantai, laut dan alami adalah beberapa faktor pendukung untuk menjadikan kabupaten ini sebagai objek wisata. Mengapa wisata ? karena dengan optimalisasi kawasan pantai sebagai tujuan wisata, akan membuat ide agar kabupaten ini menjadi kota tujuan akan terwujud. Perkebunan sawit itu hanya mendatangkan satu dua orang investor dan pekerja, sedangkan wisata bisa mendatangkan ribuan turis dalam negeri dan luar negeri. Ya bisa saja, diantaranya adalah para investor pada wisata.

Alasanku yang lain adalah sektor perwisataan selama ini pada dasarnya menyumbang pendapatan daerah yang banyak dan rutin. Akan tetapi selama ini manajemen ini tidak berjalan baik, sehingga hanya menguntungkan beberapa orang yang mengelola tempat wisata pantai sebagai milik pribadi dan kelompok. Dalam anganku, jika semua kawasan wisata disini dilengkapi dengan fasilitas di tempat wisata serta punya manajemen yang bertanggungjawab, maka pemasukan itu rutin terjadi dan rutin memberi pemasukan.

Optimalisasi kawasan pantai sebagai objek wisata, maka mampu melahirkan berbagai macam lahan pekerjaan bagi siapapun, ini juga menjadi pemasukan untuk daerah ini, belum lagi nanti jika ada beberapa investor melihat bahwa kabupaten ini konsisten maka dolar-dolar itu akan mengalir dari kantong para pengusaha wisata. Kemunculan ekonomi dan perbaikan pendapatan masyarakat juga dapat dilihat nanti, karena semakin maju dan berkembang kawasan pantai maka ini akan menghadirkan beberapa pengusaha makanan dan minuman, restorant dan lainnya.

Ini adalah pendapatku dan baru pernah kusampaikan kepada kawan-kawanku, semoga tulisan ini dapat dibaca oleh aparatur pemerintah di kabupaten dan menangkap ide awal ini, bukan tidak mungkin pernyataan bahwa daerah ini tidak mungkin maju, akan terbantahkan dengan kenyataan bahwa wisata pantai sangat ramai di masa yang akan datang.
