Flowering You in Petals of Pleasure

Himeville museum flower garden blooms in the month of March

Let's meander through the flowers on display during Autumn, enjoying the garden before going into the the fort in Himeville. A tiny little village five kilometers down the road from Underberg, if you travel through too quickly you could miss this entertaining little town.

The museum/fort and town are a story for another day, the flowers inland had me spell bound by their beauty, photographs of a few, (always more to come). Gardener here keeps himself busy for others to enjoy when passing through.

A quiet start to the morning enjoying tranquil beauty, lets start with a flower I have never had the pleasure of seeing before, the Japanese anemones...

Thrilled to see flowers we normally don't see at the coast, cooler climate at higher altitude definitely offers a lot at this time of the year.

Name the flower, normally research required after being out, always trying to find out what I have photographed, learning about different plants is soooo time consuming, and soooo rewarding identifying interesting flowers.

Flowering profusely with new buds appearing throughout the garden a Dahlia bud together with the flower in a gorgeous Apricot colour.

Tickled pink this flower stood out being a spray of blooms in full flower.

Joyful yellow in the flower garden with another Dahlia, these flowers were present in an array of colours throughout.

Warm orange of the Watsonia pillansii, really hope I have identified flowers correctly, if not let me know in the comments below, always willing to learn something new every day.

Every garden appears to have much loved roses, this is the front garden flowers we will take a peek into the flowers in the fort in the next post.

A flower wouldn't be a flower without those pretty petals!

Thanks for your visit and comment @tussar11

What a beauty! Thank you for such wonderful flowers and a story about them. Great post!
I love dahlias very much.

·

The garden is so well kept, one has to give all praise to the gardener who tends to this daily @eto-ka

·
·

Oh yes, the gardener is a great professional!

Those are such beautiful blossoms and good photos too!
Thanks for sharing these! I can sure use some color now for we are at that time of year where there isn't much color yet - still some white from the snow and brown branches and dried grasses, still waiting for the flush of green to appear in the trees - then I really know it's spring!

·

Loved how colourful this garden is, the healthy state it is kept in. Going into winter here on the coast we get more flowers in winter months to look forward to.

Enjoy Spring when it arrives, enjoyed your video about late snow fall up North.

·
·

Lucky you to get blossoms all year long!
WE had our first rain today so that will take a lot of snow and help the tree buds burst giving us that first flush of green! Yohoo!

·
·
·

Enjoy the arrival of new life all around you slowly shrugging off the cold months.

There are so many flowers in your part of the world that I've never seen before, and it's great to see them and read about them! I've seen dahlias before, and they're one of my favorite flowers! The apricot dahlia is breathtaking! 💖

·

One beautiful garden, the apricot dahlia really stood out, have a wonderful new week @thekittygirl
