[A trip to Italy] First night. Part 1

in #travelfeed5 years ago

Once I was skyping with my friends for almost 3 hours. I met these friends in Italy and I spent with almost two years of my life. After that I got inspired to write that article. I hope you will enjoy it.

From my travel diary ...

Rome

Rome

Let's drink a cup of coffee and continue the story ... I let down 2 of my suitcases in half. I decided to try my luck again, went up to those who stood on the platform, to clarify whether I came down correctly. In response, the same violent speech, accompanied by gestures, showing it on the scoreboard, then on the rails, then on the clock ... In general, I decided to wait. And on the opposite side there was nobody. So I'm sitting on the platform, waiting for the train. There are 5-6 people next to me. Two of them are those Italians. After 15 minutes a couple more people came down. Similarly, foreigners. They came to me to ask whether the train goes from here to the city center. Hm Found someone to ask. Then two more men descended, and again approached me with the same question. I told them honestly that I did not know myself. But since everyone is waiting here, then I will wait. One of the men said that he would go upstairs and try to find out something. He ran away. We stayed with his friend on the platform, with suitcases.

Then the train pulls up ... But, on the other hand. The second man escapes to us, shouting that we need to go to the other side, i.e. climb up and go down with your luggage upstairs, with an idle escalator. I already thought of everything, have to wait for another train or go on foot to the center. But the guys did not abandon me, grabbed my bags and helped me complete this difficult quest.

A minute later we were sitting on the train, trying to catch my breath after such an unplanned run. As it turned out, on the way to the city center, one of the guys was from Finland, and the second - from China. The two of them traveled around Europe, but after a couple of days they were supposed to return to China, where they now live.

A sunset in Rome

As we rode the train, I thought that the most difficult trials were over, that very soon I would be able to take a shower and rest. But it was not there...

To be continued.
