Chatuchak PlayGround Vintage Flea Market , Bangkok !!

in #travelfeed5 years ago

Market's in Bangkok are endless i love all varieties of market's and i will spend hours in market's not necessarily to buy anything but that all depends what really attract my attention but i would say going to a vintage market for me can be very dangerous because there are always some many items that will attract my attention as probably most of you would agree.

This Vintage Flea Market is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, vendors display tons of Thai and foreign vintage, secondhand and antique goods till 10 pm and today been Saturday i decided to visit the Chatuchak Playground Vintage Flea Market to take you back in time so walk along with me.

This vintage market seem to have so many interesting items that i really didn't know what to look at next everything was just so fascinating from from knick-knacks like toys, glassware, electronics, vinyl, old turntable stereos and game players to large scale vintage furniture.

Chatuchak Weekend Market has reached a landmark status as a must visit place for tourists these markets cover a area of 35 acres and this Vintage Playground market is just another market included within this large area of markets you could spend days browsing this large area of different markets.

HotWheels now these little match box cars i have been collecting them as a kid to see them here on display and for sale just got adrenaline going i just need to check what maybe i don't have in my set and i will be back here next weekend...lol :)

Even ET was here now that definitely brings back some good memories i remember ET at the cinemas with my son.

It was absolutely amazing what i was seeing at this vintage market some of these items i have never seen till now i thought i had seen it all we just see and learn everyday definitely feeling like i am traveling in a time machine going back in time and all so educational.

All the old film cameras and still all in good order love these old school cameras.

Thailand does have a sense of humor check out these characters....lol :)

Love these old chandeliers still so classy and the coke signs which are worth a future in some countries as collectors items.

I recommend if your ever in Bangkok try and squeeze in a weekend to visit Chatuchak Weekend Markets you will not be disappointed.

The Chatuchak Playground Vintage Flea Market is definitely one to be seen and it can be found at Bangsue Junction Bldg, 511, Kamphaeng Phet 2 Rd., 088-377-5385. Open Fri-Sun 9am-10pm

Very educational in some interesting treasures you photographed here @hangin

Really interesting i do wonder if they know what valuable items they could have here :)

These markets sometimes yield some amazing old trinkets of value, sometimes great value if you know what you are looking at.

Definitely a lot of interesting items and of great value :)

Thanks @travelfeed still looking around the site and learning, nice layout for travel bloggers.

A place where I would be lost among so many temptations. Just what I see in your photos and I would buy a few dozen items. A blog that pleased me to read it. Thank you!

Oh wow 😲 I'd love to pick up one (or more) of those cameras— if not to play with, then to display!

I know i have got about 3 of these cameras and they still look more classy then the cameras today 😀

Oh! I love the vintage market! 😍 A dear friend of ours has a collection of old telephones and cameras. I think he would love it there. 😍😍

Thank you for taking us there, my friend. 😊

Very nice post! I will have to visit this place one day!

You would love it so many items i wanted to buy :)

What a cool market there so interesting there i love those timepieces

Some many items i would have loved to have bought but like you i am moving early next year to a new apartment by the beach so i will do my shopping then 😀

That makes sense of course in a way for me it’s good has stopped me from buying things I do not really need

Yep no point in packing more boxes i will sought everything then go and buy what i need when i am in the new place 😀

Thats exactly what I am thinking, I m trying ot reduce what we have at the moment not expand it, we have some boxes in the attic and arage but haven’t bene touched since we over here, I said to y wife recently if we haven’t looked in those boxes for 5 years, then why do we need whatever is in them, but then later i shot myself in the foot with that argument,
She asked me do I know where my Collectibles are, and there in one of the boxes inthe garage and i plan on keeping most of them LOL

Haha...looks like you be needing to buy a big display glass cabinet for your future new place and display them suckers....lol :)

Well that is an option I am considering or if the place has a basement maybe I will setup a man cave or man corner for them lol 😂

That sounds good it's nice to have your pride of collections on display 😀
