It's beginning to feel like Christmas

Hi folks,

Christmas is just around the block so malls and homes are decorating now for the Yuletide season. In a bid to make most of my cousin visit I invited her to have breakfast in a hotel near my city. And this tree just caught my eye.Do ask me why.

If you notice the tree is white which is absolutely not in synch to the weather of our country. Guess it is a statement that most Filipinos do dream of experiencing white Christmas as they often see in the movies. Funny the name of the hotel is Oriental so I don't know if it's a joke or not to have such a tree as a centerpiece.If you examine closely the top it's made from used seashells which to me is very creative.

The gown is made from dried leaves.Magical SD it is I wonder if it's even possible to don one yet I must admit it takes much patience to assemble this work of art.

I just love the array of succulents that adorn their tables and how they artistically arranged those figures to make an impressive wall visual

The cake we ordered was delectable and affordable but the coffee at 60php was a far cry from what I have in a convenient store. In short it was too diluted you'd think if it was even worth sipping.

The place is too pricey yet the opportunity to have a long talk with a cousin I rarely see since she's Canada base is something I always look forward too. So yes I am grateful to just have a good talk with her be it in this poshy place or anywhere

As end this post our boat is slowly docking in the port is Cebu. Thank God for #Steemit never had I have another boring unproductive time.Because of Steemit I am able to pen memories I treasure in my heart, promote local tourism and hopefully create more jobs in the process and yeah hopefully profit from it too. Bless you steemit. Oh by the way, I am officially ONE year active user. Hooray!
