Hagukan and Magkukuob

The beauty of group trips apart from being cheaper includes having someone to take pictures when your camera gives up on you. So. I'm sharing pictures my friend Maricar and I took.

In our trip to Surigao I had a once iń a lifetime experience of entering an underwater cave in Hagukan ,spelunking in and diving out in Magkukuob.

Let me start with our trip in Hagukan cave where your trust issues will be tested. The boatman will instruct you to float on your back, put on your swimming goggles, closed your eyes and believe the boatman to glide you into the narrow inlet where you can feel your nose touch the stalactites. It was scary at start but when you see how luminescent blue the water is on the inside its surely worth .

We can't take much pictures because of the long queue so we need back to the next destination where one has to climb up the stalactites and jump off to the lagoon for exit.

Inside you'll see small bat colony then climb as in the cover picture then gather as much courage to jump for a 12 feet plunge

What's necessary for this trip? Well , helmet preferably with head light, non skid shoes ,go pro,sunblock ,mosquito repellent ,life vest and mega tones of courage. Definitely not for claustrophobic and those afraid to drown.

Yes, it was fun. What an adrenaline rush it was. My best part is going through the islands, having sea breeze brush you dry and the scenic white stones formation and clear green water.

You had so much fun I promise that you'd forget about having darker skin and even of the bats and possible risk to limbs or life.

Most likely it you didn't know we just meet in this tour package you'd probably think we were long time bosom friends. I suppose that's another joy of travelling you meet new people with same interest who can be your great friend
