Yesterday after 8hours work in Business process outsourcing ,mock test for IELTS and 16hours hospital work I was exhausted. So I saw a need to relax and do some self pampering.

What did I do that's within my budget that wears off my over fatigued body? I went to the topmost part of Cebu known for its cold temperatures, beautiful flowers and some organically grown fruits. Can you guess where on the map is that?

All right I'll drop in some tips.IMG_20190311_093831.jpg

Yeah you guess it right! I went to the now famous Sirao farm.I must be honest this place being so talked about did spark mg curiosity so taking a motorcycle trip at 150php per way I dish of my frugal budget to see this place.

For a 100php entrance I get to snap at those iconic Dutch windmills, shoes and feast my eyes on fresh blooms. Though I must say Theresa farm nearby impresses me more when it comes to its botanical array. Just the same ,I found some cozy spot perfect for prenuptial photos if only I was in that road. So what about this place is worthy of that exorbitant bicycle ride and entrance fee? Definitely not the flowers. I like the idea that they managed to make an enterprise out of what they do for a living. This makes possible a lot of workers from gardeners harvesters and people who keep this place running. In more ways than one this site made possible for people to have dignified work as shops offering food, drinks etc sprawl outside its gates too.

Secondly ,it's a clear testament that when we take care of nature it cares for us back. I hope to see more and more business that centres in protecting the environment.

Though the daisy motif chairs are appealing they would have been better if it was more from natural or repurpose than plastic.Ecofriendlier is always better. See what I mean below.IMG_20190311_093730.jpg

These weather proof plastic chairs are eyecatching indeed and true to motiff but I prefer the natural wooden chair seasoned by Mother Nature as they say hugging trees makes you more energetic so I'm figuring sitting in one would do me same experience IMG_20190311_093351.jpg

Also it would have been more satisfying for me had I seen indigeneous flowers and a place to sit,sip and enjoy the nature around me. For the same entrance fee Theresa's farm has a lot of seats under canopy of flowers and a beautiful restaurant with 360view of all the lush tropical wonderland. Do scroll down for the blog I made about it. IMG20190310092756.jpg
Third, I superlove country feel. I can't help take a wacky picture of me outside of its porch.

Those metal colorful water trinkets with jewelled water pouring ☔ out is cute. Same is true for their sewage tank which was decorated to appear like window pane. IMG_20190311_093517.jpg

Look at their portable comfort rooms against the mountain .Gogorgeous isn't it? Though it would have been better if it were like a wood cabin. IMG_20190311_093506.jpg
I took as many pictures as I can considering the place was hard to access and pricey. I thought of it as an inspiring pause so I get energy to fight for my dream to work and live in Europe or to visit it whatever God's plan for me.

Overall the place wasn't as lush as it appears in the social network. But for a weary soul like mine it was a view different from my usual city life. I was happy to go home with some coconut juice for 30php and two kilos of soursup at 30php .Yeah it was so cheap and organically grown. So the trip was well worth it though I wish they could have planted more high end flowers like carnation, roses, etc and regulate the bicycle rate charges as its ludicrously high.

Bon apertite everyone. This cancer fighting fruit will be my lunch and dinner today. Live an extraordinary life as you can.

Till next post,
Ayn
