WTF: It's the World Travel Fest

Travel is one of the most amazing parts of our life, my wife and mine I mean. We simply love it for so many reasons and are fortunate enough to have put ourselves into the position to be able to travel a little over our adult lives.

We've laid on beaches and around resort pools, hiked and trekked, flown in float-planes, canoed and kayaked, visited the worlds most famous art galleries and museums and historical buildings and monuments, driven exotic sports cars in the towns they were made in, stood on mountain-tops and deep in valleys, walked the famous boulevards and streets of glamorous cities and the battlefields from long-ago wars. Camped in remote places and stayed in villas with views of the most spectacular kind. We've eaten in fine restaurants and from street-vendors, sailed, trained, driven, walked, bicycled, rowed, gondola'd, parachuted and bungee-jumped to places far and wide...And we have enjoyed every moment of travelling together, either overseas or in this big old land called Australia!

We are either talking about our past trips or planning our next and right now we are planning for the next two, one this year and the next in 2020 to New Zealand and Europe respectively.

We are going to head over to the Adelaide Convention Centre today to check out a travel show that is running there. We normally don't do this sort of thing considering the interwebs are a wealth of information however it's anything-can-happen-Sunday so why the hell not? Actually, we're hoping to get some clarity on a few thoughts we're having about our trips and figure what better place to be than a travel show on a 37 degree (hot AF) Summer day? If you take a look at the link below, the WTF link, you'll see some of the features they'll have at the event tomorrow...Most prominently featured is the free coffee and world culinary delights they mention...OK, so not the most prominently featured but a great drawcard right?

We're catching up with a friend of ours there who is going to travel shortly also so we'll hang out, check out some stuff and probably collect a mountain of brochures. This will help bring some direction to our plans and narrow our investigations when at home planning on the interwebs. Entry is free so it's a no-risk situation so why wouldn't we go huh?
