I think it's cool to see some of the filming locations from a favourite film. We were recently in New Zealand and went to several Lord of the Rings locations - Was so cool. We went to the UK last year but weren't able to make it to Scotland...It's on the list for next time though. Good post, thanks for sharing.
Yeah agree its cool to see where the magic happened. We are from New zealand and lived near hobbiton. Weta workshops is also excellent
That's north island isn't it? Hobbiton I mean. We stayed in the south but loved NZ so will be back to explore some more. We love close so it's not too costly. (Aus)
Yea waikato... south is probably more 'beautiful' but north has loads of cool places to explore such as rotorua, taupo and wellington.
We will probably head back to the north in 2021. Loved the south so much though, fewer people, beautiful scenery. Such a lovely place. I'm annoyed we didn't head over sooner to be honest.
