Lower Osanovo Pt.1

In 1918, in Osanovo, the country residence of the foreign ambassadors who were then in Vologda was located. On May 29, 1918, Osanovo was confiscated from N. A. Volkov. The private estate of the Volkovs was transformed into a state farm, but the son of the former owner of the estate was left as the farm manager. The manor house and church were demolished from 1930 to the 1950s.

In 1929, the Osanovo state farm became a subsidiary farm of the Vologda branch of the Northern Railway. In 1963, a grove was planned and planted in Osanovo, which in the same year was declared a monument of park art. In 1981, the grove due to an abandoned, ownerless condition did not confirm this status.

Lower Osanovo Street runs along the hillside just below the first through street.

On Lower Street, there are multi-flat two-story brick houses.

There are also a lot of different equipment in the local area.

There are a couple of wooden barracks in this part of the village.

The territory is littered with the process of repairing freight and tractor equipment.

Lower Osanovo Street is not passing through, so there is a feeling of a little more comfort, silence and tranquility.

Although what kind of comfort can we talk about with such a mess?

So that everyone knows that here Osanovo Street in the village of Osanovo, there is a sign on the bath.

Without sheds and baths in such places in any way!

But there are not so many gardens here.

But there are even more trucks than on Upper Street Osanovo.

It is strange why the inhabitants are so disregard for their yards.

The houses are not dilapidated, brick, but in the courtyards a mess.

In one half of the houses, the entrances face the street, and in the second half of the houses the entrances look into the yard.
