More Campervan Travels from France

We are now settled in our little mobile home in Camargue, France. I love the little campervan but it's also nice to have more room to spread out. I expect I'll still be sharing my bed with the pooch though. ☺

We had the most glorious sunset last night. You could tell who the tourists were as everyone stopped at the side of the road to take photographs. We stopped for quite some time watching the changing colours.

We were just on our way back from seeing the pink flamingos. I've only seen them in a zoo as a kid so it was great to see them in their natural habitat. It's very frustrating when you are taking photos of birds. The flamingos just stood on one leg having a snooze. As soon as we put our cameras down they either stretched their wings displaying a lovely orange plummage or they started arguing with themselves. Oh well, hopefully when I get home I can see what I've got.

Earlier on in the afternoon we visited Aigues-Mortes, a Medieval town which is surrounded by a wall with four corner towers and a dozen fortified portes.

Just outside is the Aigues-Mortes canal.

We did a little bit of shopping, a little bit of drinking and then ended with a waffle. Food porn at its best!

The weather is getting hotter and I'm wilting. Anyway, the show goes on. Our next stop is Carcassonne! After that, we will be making our way home.
