RE: Five minutes, five Greek minutes!
The blogs that you write about Greece are some of my favorites! If one had never been to Greece, a read of your posts picks up the flavor, the smells, the colors and gets the feel of what a wonderful place this is.
I like the taverns there. They used to be very much all like that in the United States until the bigger cities exploded with big stores and bigger taverns. Still, where I come from outside of New York City (in the state of Connecticut) the old taverns are still owned by families like that. It is more family feeling, in my opinion. People get to know people.
The small winding roads, the beauty of the people. I see the attraction and I must say that is why I love many of the islands in the Caribbean. They are very much like that.
Awesome post, Dan @bluemoon! I hope all is well with you and have a great day!

Thanks! You tell me that I managed to do what I wanted, to convey the spirit of Greece and what I really like. Thank you very much, your opinion matters most to me.
I'm glad there are taverns in America too. Although it seems unbelievable to me, there are no taverns in Romania now, although I have had a lot of Greek influence in our history. Moreover, for a long time there were Greek rulers in the Romanian country. Not the best quality but still from Greece.
I imagine it is wonderful in the Caribbean and I understand very well why you like to go there.
I answer late, I beg your pardon. I didn't even manage to post #marketfriday, although I was prepared and wanted.
