DTube - This Might be the Most Awesome Thing to do in Thailand - Slip N Fly
Hey everybody. I'm back to bring you another awesome adventure with my twin brother, Joe. This time we are in Thailand on the island of Koh Phangan, the one famous for the Full Moon Parties. When it comes close for the monthly Full Moon Party to commence, The Slip N Fly opens up it's 6-day party.

What is a Slip N Fly?
It is a giant Slip n' Slide, or waterslide, with a ramp at the end of it to launch its users into a deep pool. This one has 2 different ramp slides that go different heights but people get up to 15 feet of air before they plunge toward the pool.
At this location is also a smaller pool with a volleyball net set up in it and a smaller slide to go down on boogie boards. There is a place to order food and drinks, priced well above average for Thailand. There are places to sit in the shade and relax and, of course, the party music goes loud and strong all day.
What Does it Cost?
They run 6-day Full Moon Festival Passes and 4-day Half Moon Festival Passes. Both cost 600 Baht (about 16 US dollars). There are no options for day passes. Even though I was only there for one day, I felt like I still got my money's worth out of it because it was such a blast.
A waiver has to be signed as you pay for your pass. It just says they are not responsible for anything bad that might happen to you there. I actually jammed my toe into a step and broke the nail. It bled quite a bit, but they brought out a first aid kit for me and got bandaged up. I was good to go for more Slip N Fly in no time.
There were quite a number of bellyflops throughout the day and a few people were doing some crazy tricks but no one got seriously injured.
Joe and I had an awesome time slipping and flying the day away before we went to the the beach party and we both agree it was the best thing we did in Thailand. If you are adventurous, this is something you can not pass up when you are in Thailand.
Would you go down the Slip N Fly? Tell me in the comments.

This is great @daveonarrival. You should try our” seven seas water park “extreme rides here in Cagayan de Oro Philippines.
I'll check that out. I need to get back to the Philippines anyway :)
Great! will wait you having fun rides with that huge cyclone. I did it four times.
Or the easiest way to break your neck .. hahah ..OMG those shots are so much fun.
Some people started doing crazy tricks but the most anyone got hurt was getting the wind knocked out of them. There were definitely a lot of bellyflops.
Love it ...

Nice, looks like so much fun! Can you believe I'm living on Koh Phangan since 2,5 years and I never tried Slip N Fly? :D Guess I will have to do it finally haha
Say whaaaaat? Haha, yep you'll have to do it now. :) Do you make visa runs every month to stay in Thailand?
Yes, I have to :) Last times I stayed with a multiple tourist visa which is valid for 6 months and can even be extended. This year I wanna apply for a non immigrant visa to make some things easier.
