Moscow Metro Photo Tour - Part 3

Fourth and final chapter of my photo tour in the beautiful stations of the Moscow metro.
In this final post I will show you the last four stations, the last not for importance or beauty but simply because the route I decided to follow put them at the end.
I started around 10:30 pm to finally end around midnight and my photographic work was more peaceful and relaxed apart on a couple of occasions when I was scolded by the police and a security officer but nothing to worry about, I care to specify that I have not done anything illegal but security kept an eye on me perhaps more for curiosity than for the real hindrance.

Quarto ed ultimo capitolo del mio tour fotografico nelle splendide stazioni della metropolitana di Mosca.
In questo post conclusivo vi farò ammirare le ultime quattro stazioni, ultime non per importanza o bellezza ma semplicemente perché il tragitto che ho deciso di seguire le ha messe alla fine.
Ho cominciato intorno alle 22:30 per finire definitivamente verso mezzanotte ed il mio lavoro fotografico è stato più tranquillo e rilassato a parte in un paio di occasioni in cui sono stato rimproverato dalla polizia e da un addetto alla sicurezza ma nulla di preoccupante, ci tengo a precisare che non ho fatto nulla di illegale ma la sicurezza mi teneva d'occhio forse più per la curiosità che per il reale intralcio.

On the ceiling you can admire the mosaics that celebrate the culture, economy and history of Belarus. These mosaics are 12 to be precise, while the floor reproduces traditional Belarusian motifs.

The thirty-two historiated glass windows transform this station into an example of art nouveau.
These windows are the representation of the intellectual professions: architect, geographer, agronomist, engineer, artist and musician.
Going through the central corridor to the end you can see the mosaic Peace in the world.

Le trentadue vetrate istoriate trasformano questa stazione in un esempio di art nouveau.
Questi finestroni sono la rappresentazione delle professioni intellettuali: architetto, geografo, agronomo, ingegnere, artista e musicista.
Percorrendo il corridoio centrale fino alla fine si può vedere il mosaico Pace nel mondo.

Originally this station bore the name of the nearby MGU Botanical Garden.
Its decorations are elegant bas-reliefs in white porcelain that represent figures intent on planting trees, harvesting the fruits of the earth and living in harmony.

Originariamente questa stazione portava il nome del vicino Giardino Botanico MGU.
Le sue decorazioni sono eleganti bassorilievi in porcellana bianca che rappresentano figure intente a piantare alberi, raccogliere i frutti della terra e a vivere in armonia.

KOMSOMOLSKAYA

At the Komsomolskaya station the red line 1 (Sokolnicheskaya liniya) intersects the line 5 or line of the Ring (Koltsevaya liniya).
Both lines are dedicated to young workers who contributed to their construction. In the station of line 1, on top of the limestone columns, there is the symbol of the Komsomol (Communist Youth Union) and the majolica panel represents the boys at work.
The station on the Ring line has an immense corridor with a ceiling decorated with stuccos and mosaics dedicated to the Russian military heroes.

Alla stazione Komsomolskaya la linea 1 rossa (Sokolnicheskaya liniya) interseca la linea 5 o linea dell’Anello (Koltsevaya liniya).
Tutte e due le linee sono dedicate ai giovani lavoratori che contribuirono alla loro costruzione. Nella stazione della linea 1, in cima alle colonne di pietra calcarea, c’è il simbolo del Komsomol (Unione Giovanile Comunista) e il pannello i maiolica rappresenta i ragazzi al lavoro.
La stazione sulla linea dell’Anello presenta un immenso corridoio con il soffitto decorato da stucchi e mosaici dedicati agli eroi militari russi.
