Thanks for the awesome tour throughout Lucerne and surrounding lakes. Indeed the architecture does look incredible and I love the old gothic style, it really is taking you to a different period in time and great they restored it after all those fires!

The Swiss are very good with restoring old historical sites. Switzerland is full with restored buildings! If you ever manage you can check my post about Schaffhausen that was bombed during the World War and restored to its original appearance.

That sounds awesome and I do definitely need to investigate Switzerland, if not for its natural beauty with the mountains (hiker guy here) then for it's interestingly designed towns and cities :)
