Jambi Province is located on the island of Sumatra is an area that has a beautiful landscape. This area has an area most of which is mountainous and has many lakes and rivers that watering profusely. This lush forest area is one of the national parks in Indonesia called Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS). Kerinci national park has a wealth of biodiversity due to including tropical rain forest consisting of mountains and lakes. One of the famous lake as one of the tourist destinations both nationally and internationally is kaco lake.

Kaco lake is one of the lake that has clear water like glass and reflects the blue color is very beautiful. This is due to the limestone sand content at the bottom of the lake that has a depth of 18 meters. This lake is located in the village of lempur jambi province surrounded by the national park forest kerinci seblat.

Anyone can visit this glowing lake at night especially on the full moon. This lake is located at an altitude of 1289 meters above sea level with an area of 30 m x 30 m. Inside this lake there are many endemic fish called fish semah that taste delicious. So when you come here never forget your fishing and snorkeling equipment.

How to Travel Route?

Travel can be taken from the airport depati parbo in hiang village districts around the lake district kerinci. From the airport you can use public transport to the village of lempur which takes 2 hours drive. When arriving in the village of lempur you have to walk as far as 3 km to bamboo monument. Then you have to go through concrete rebound road as far as 1 km and mud road used buffalo track for 2 hours. A trip that drains energy but will be paid with all the natural panorama scenery that will be served by the lake Kaco.
